Some stalactites reach down far enough to join with stalagmites to form pillars. Deep emerald pools form from crystal-clear streams of running water from breathtaking waterfalls.

Visitors to Harrison’s Cave can take a guided tour through the caverns. Where they can learn about the cave’s geology and wildlife. 

The tours are an exciting way to explore this natural wonder. They provide visitors with an up-close look at Harrison’s Cave. One of Barbados’ most important geological landmarks.

You get to this cave by a government operate tram. The tour operators provide you with a lot of information about the formation of the cave. At intervals, you can leave the tram and approach the formations.

Eco-Adventure Park at Harrison’s Cave

The cave is among the hotspots on the island, and it is sure worth the trip. Visitors are free to take pictures and video recordings during their tours. 

One of the largest caverns, called The Great Hall, measures over 50 feet in height. Past The Great Hall, the next stop is The Village. The village has columns formed from some formations. You will also visit and stop in The Chapel, The Rotunda, and The Altar.

At the lowest level of the cave system, you can walk along the spectacular waterfall and view the deep pool.

Harrison Cave tram tours start at 9 am most days. You can also hire local tour guides companies which will include a stop at Harrison’s Cave.
